Every year more than two lakh students appear for GATE entrance. Students who appear for GATE entrance there first question is what type of question asked in GATE entrance test. What is question paper pattern of GATE 2012 exam.

GATE ECE Question Paper Pattern
Paper Duration: 3 hour.
Questions:65
Question Pattern: Objective Type
Questions Marks Negative marks
1 to 25 1 mark 1/3 mark.
26 to 55 2 marks 2/3 mark.
48 to 51 2/3 mark.
56 to 60 is general aptitude questions of one mark each.
61 to 65 aptitude questions of two marks each with negative marking being 2/3 mark.
