UPSC has announced IES 2012 examination date. Online registration for UPSC IES 2012 examination has started from 10th March 2012 and last date is 9th March 2012. UPSC IES 2012 Vacancies details
Total vacancies- 560 it includes 47 for PH candidates. The reservations of SC/ST, OBC and PH categories will be fixed as per Government norms.
Important date for UPSC IES 2012
Online registration starts from IES exam 2012: 10.03.2012
Last date of online application submission for IES exam 2012: 09.04.2012 till 11:59 pm
IES 2012 exam will be held on: 15.06.2012 (the exam will be for 3 days)
UPSC IES 2012 Admit card
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before examination. To download IES 2012 admit card visit to UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in .
Eligibility criteria for IES exam
Age limit for IES 2012 exam - 21 to 30 years as on 01.01.2012.

Educational qualification for IES 2012 - Need graduation in Engineering from a recognized university or its equivalent qualification. Final year students can also apply for IES exam, but they need to provide the proof of passing the exam later at the time of IES exam 2012 results.
