TNPSC PGT Teachers Eligibility Criteria, Pay Scale and Age
Educational Qualification:
For English Teacher: Need Graduation in English, Masters Degree in English and B.T or B.Ed or equivalent degree. (OR) Graduation in any subject with Masters Degree in English and B.T or B.Ed or an equivalent degree.
For Commerce: Masters Degree in Commerce and B.T or B.Ed or equivalent degree are eligible to apply.
Salary: Salary will be 9300-34800 with Grade pay of 4800.
Age Criteria: Between 18 to 35 years as on 01.07.2012.
There is no upper age limit for candidates belongs to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes.
What is the Selection procedure for TNPSC PGT Teacher Recruitment 2012
Selection will be based on the performance in the main examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) as well as in Oral Test.

Total Duration - 3 Hours
Interview carries 40 Marks.
The minimum qualifying marks for TNPSC PGT exam for SCs,SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs is 102 and for all others it is 136.

How to apply online for TNPSC Teacher Vacancy 2012-13
Visit to TNPSC official website and if you have unique ID and password then you can login using this id and password, else you have to fill all the details on an online application form for TNPSC Post Graduate Teacher.
Upload your scanned signature and photograph and make the payment either through online or offline and hit the submit button, upon which candidates will get a system generated application number and password which has to be kept safely for future reference. The payment should be made within two working days from the date of registration of application form. Take the print out of filled in application form and keep it for future reference.
