Online registration for UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2013 exam  has started from 22nd Dec 2012. UPSC invites eligible candidates for admissions to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wings of National Defence Academy for 131st Course and for 93rd Indian Naval Academy Course which commences from January 2, 2014. UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2013 Eligibility Criteria ,Vacancies For Army,Air Force And Navy

Vacancies
 Total Vacancies -  355

For National Defence Academy - 300 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy and 66 for Air Force)
For Naval Academy (10+2 cadet entry scheme) - 55 vacancies.

Educational Qualification
For Army wing of NDA - Candidates passed in 12th Class  equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or University can eligible to apply.

For Air Force and Naval wings of NDA and for 10+2 cadet entry scheme at INA: Candidates passed in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University are eligible.

NOTE: If you are appearing for 12th Class under 10+2 pattern or equivalent then your eligible to apply.

Age Criteria for NDA & NA (I) 2013: 

Born not earlier than 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st July 1997 are eligible to apply(Unmarried).


Selection Criteria/Procedure for NDA & NA (I) 2013 Exam

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written test followed by an interview. Those candidates who qualified  the written test will be called for interview conducted by Services Selection Board (SSB).

UPSC NDA & NA (I) Entrance Exam 2013 Syllabus, Question Paper Pattern And Study Material


The paper will be of objective type multiple choice questions. The NDA question paper for consists question from Mathematics and  General Ability will be available both in Hindi and English language.

What type of question asked in NDA Mathematics Paper

Question comes from the following topics such as Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trignometry and Statistics.

For General Ability: Part A will have English and Part B has General Knowledge.

There is a provision of  negative marking for NDA exam for which one third of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. So answer the questions only if you are sure.

How To Apply, Application Form For NDA & NA (I) 2013 Exam


Application Fees: Candidates need to remit 100 by the way of depositing the cash in any branches of SBI or can use net banking facitlity or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card. Candidates belongs to SC/ST/ Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from fee payment.

Online Form For NDA & NA (I) 2013 Exam - The online application for NDA & NA (I) 2013 consists of two stages  Part I registration in which you have to fill your details, once you completely filled the form press submit. Once your form get successfully submitted you get system generated ID .

As per latest NDA notification your DOB between 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st January, 1998.
