UGC NET Exam Syllabus
Question paper of UGC NET exam will be set in Hindi and English except the Engineering Science question paper which will be in English only.
UGC NET Paper will be divided into three parts
Part A - Common to all subjects including Engineering Sciences. Questions will be from General Aptitute consists of logical reasoning, analytical and numerical ability, quantitative aptitude, puzzles, graphical analysis and so on.
Part B - For Engineering Sciences the questions will be on Mathematics and Engineering Aptitude. For other disciplines the questions will be of MCQ type with the topics on given in the syllabus.
Part C - For Engineering Sciences exam MCQs will cover topics in the syllabus and for other disciplines the questions will be in nature to test candidates knowledge of scietific concept/ or application. The questions will be in analytical nature where candidates have to apply the scientific knowledge to get the solution. Candidates need to be aware that there will be negative marking for UGC NET exam for wrong answers.
