Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs has invite online application for the post of ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER – GRADE II/TECH & ASSISTANT CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE OFFICER – GRADE II/Wireless Telegraphy . ACIO Grade II/WT - 57 vacancies. (Gen 12, OBC 20, SC 17, ST 08)
ACIO Grade II/Tech - 19 vacancies. (Gen 11, OBC 1, SC 5, ST 2)

Age Criteria For Applying In IB ACIO: 
Age between 18 to 27 years as on the closing date for receipt of application.Relaxation as per govt. norms.

Pay Scale: 
Pay scale of 9300-34800 with Grade pay of 4200.

Educational Qualification For IB ACIO

For ACIO II / Tech: 

 Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics (or) Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the fields of Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunication & Computer Science through three years course from recognized Polytechnic or should have done M.Sc (Wireless) in Telecommunication Engineering.

Along with this the candidate should hold PGDCA or One year DCA (or) BCA (or) B.Sc Computer Science/ IT or BE/B.Tech in Software Engineering or IT from a recognized university is required.

For ACIO II / WT:

Degree in Science with Physics or Mathematics (or) three years Diploma in Radio Engineering from Polytechnic (or) M.Sc(Wireless) in Telecommunication Engineering.

Along with this the candidate should hold PGDCA or one year course in DCA from Polytechnic or Institute after graduation (or) BCA or B.Sc Computer Science/IT or BE/B.Tech in Software Engineering/IT is required.

IB ACIO II/WT,Tech Syllabus And Question Paper

IB ACIO paper is of objective type multiple choice questions.

 The total duration of exam is 1 hour and 40 minutes. 

Question will be asked from 
1. General Knowledge/Awareness
2. Reasoning, 
3. Comprehension, 
4. Physics, 
5. Electronics and Mathematics etc.

Procedure To Apply For IB ACIO Gared II/WT,Tech

Visit the official website mha.nic.in to fill the online application form for IB ACIO recruitment 2013. The online application is divided into two parts. First fill up the Part I application form with necessary details and select the payment option. 

If you opt for offline payment you will get a challan form with your registration ID printed on it. Take the print out and make the payment next day on SBI branch. Obtain counterfoil and visit the website again and complete the Part II registration by providing the payment details.


Examination fees: 

General and OBC candidates need to deposit Rs. 100/-. However, SC/ST candidates and all women candidates are exempted from paying examination fee.
