Canara Bank invites application for Recruitment 2013  of Specialist Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (post - 555) & Middle Management Grade Scale-II (Posts- 15). This recruitment is only for those candidates who are possessing valid Score Card issued by IBPS, Mumbai for the Common Written Examination for Specialist Officers conducted on 11.03.2012.

Technical Field Officer –Civil 

Vacancies : 30 posts

Grade / Scale : JMGS-I

Pay Scale : 14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700

Age limit : Min 20 years to Max 35 years as on 01.12.2011. Age relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government rules.

Appointment Term : The selected candidate will have to serve probation period of 2 years from the date of joining the service in Canara Bank. Candidates will have to sign service Bond of Rupees 1 lakh for the period of 2 years with the bank.

Technical Field Officer – Electrical 

Vacancies: 10 posts

Grade / Scale : JMGS-I

Pay Scale : 14500 – 600/7 – 18700 – 700/2 – 20100 – 800/7 – 25700

Selection procedure for post ( 1 to 8)

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of

1. IBPS CWE SPLST 2011-12
2. Group Discussion
3. Interview

1. IBPS score will have 50% weightage
2. GD will have 20%
3. Interview will have 30% weightage.

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of

1. Short listing (academics and experience)
2. Group Discussion
3. Interview.

The total marks allotted for Group Discussion and for Interview sections are 100 each.
GD will have 40% and Interview will have 60% weightage.
