UPSC NDA and NA (II) 2013 eligibility criteria for Indian Army,Navy and Air Force
Around 355 vacancies are filled through NDA & NA ,
NDA - 300 (195 for Army, 39 for Navy and 66 for Air Force).
NA (10+2 cadet entry scheme) - 55 vacancies.
Nationality: Should be a citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan or Nepal or Tibetan refugee or persons migrated to India with the intention of permanent settling in India only can apply.
Age limit- born not earlier than 2nd July 1995 and not later than 1st January, 1998.
Educational qualification for Indian Army, Navy and Air Force.
For Army : Candidates should have passed 12th Class (10+2 pattern) or equivalent conducted by State Education Board or University.
For Air Force and Naval wings of NDA and for 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at INA: Candidates should have passed 12th Class (10+2 pattern) or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by State Education Board or University.
Note: Candidates appearing in 12th Class under 10+2 pattern or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the exam.
What is the Selection procedure for NDA & NA (II) 2013Candidates are selected through
1. Written test
2. SSB Interview
Those candidates who clear the written test will be called for an SSB Interview. Written exam consists of MCQ from following sections.
Paper I - Mathematics - 300 marks
Paper II - General Ability Test - 600 marks

The question paper will be both in Hindi and English.
Candidates must note that there will be negative marking for NDA exam for which one third of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Candidates belongs to SC/ST/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from fee payment.
