NTSE 2014 Eligibility Criteria And Selection Process
National Talent Search (1st Level) examination for class X will be conducted on 17th Nov 2013 (Sunday). The timing of test is 10.00 Am to 01.00 PM. Examination in Mizoram, Meghalaya,Nagaland and Andaman and Nicobar Islands will be held on 16th Nov 2013.
NOTE- Students who are selected in National Talent Search scholarships in VIII class are not eligible to appear for the test.
Selection Process
There is two stage selection process to award the scholarship. In first stage candidate will be selected by state/UTs through written test. Those students who qualify first round will be eligible for 2nd stage examination.
Eligibility - All students of class Xth studying in recognized schools are eligible to apply.

Stage-I State/UT level1. Mental Ability Test (MAT) - It consists question from analogies, reasoning, coding-decoding etc.

2. Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) (It also includes comprehension test)- It checks students comprehension and logical power.
