Eligibility Criteria For CTET 2013 Exam
CBSE CTET 2013 Eligibility Criteria for Classes I-V Primary Stage Teachers
Need 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education passed or pursuing their final year can apply. (or)
Candidates with 45% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed 2 Years Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE or appearing in final year are also eligible.(or)
Candidates with 50% marks in Senior Secondary and have passed 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education or pursuing their final year are eligible.(or)
Candidates with 50% marks in Senior Secondary and passed or pursuing their final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) are eligible. (or)
Graduate candidates who have passed two year Diploma in Elementary Education or pursuing their final year can apply.
CTET 2013 Eligibility for Teachers of Classes VI-VIII Elementary Stage
Candidates with Graduation and passed 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education or appearing in final year exam are eligible. (or)
Candidates with 50% marks in Graduation and passed or pursuing 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or eligibe. (or)
Candidates with 45% marks in Graduation and passed or pursuing 1 year B.Ed in accordance with NCTE are eligible. (or)
Candidates with 50% makrs in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education or appearing for final year are eligible. (or)
Candidates with 50% marks in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) and passed 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or appearing for final year can apply. (or)
Candidates with 50% marks in Graduation and passed or pursuing 1 year B.Ed (Special Education) are eligible to apply
NOTE - Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled persons.
CBSE CTET 2013 Syllabus , Entrance/Reference Books And Previous Year Papers
There are two papers for CTET exam paper-I and paper-II both papers are of objective types and carries one mark.Paper -I For candidates who wish to apply for teacher vacancies for classes I to V
Paper-II For candidates who wish to apply for teacher vacancies for classes VI to VIII
If you are planning to appear for both primary and elementary stages need to apply for both the papers.
The language of the question paper shall be either English or Hindi. There will be no negative marking for CTET exam. The qualifying marks for CTET is 60% and above. So candidates who scores 60% and above will get CTET eligibility certificate and the validity period is seven years from the date of result declaration.

CTET 2013 Exam Date And Time For Paper-I And Paper-II
The written test date for CTET July 2013 is 28.07.2013.
Paper I - 10:30 to 12:00 hrs
Paper II - 13:30 to 15:00 hrs
How to apply online for CTET 2013, fees for application and procedure to apply
For General/OBC candidates - for single Paper I or II you have to pay Rs. 500 and if you are planning to appear for both papers then total cost is Rs. 800
For SC/ST/Differently Abled Person - For Paper I or II 250 and for both papers 400
Candidates can pay the fees either through Debit/Credit Card or obtain challan form from official website of CTET and can be deposited in CBSE Bank account with Syndicate bank or can deposit in CBSE account with post office.
