Total Vacancies - 22401. For CAPFs: 1176 vacancies .
CRPF - 234 vacancies
ITBP - 136 vacanices
CISF - 314 vacancies
SSB - 68 vacancies.

Pay Scale
Pay Scale for SI in CAPFs and Delhi Police - 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of 4200.
Pay Scale for ASI in CISF - 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of 2800
Pay Scale for IO in NCB is 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of 4600.
Age limit Between 20 to 25 years as on 01.01.2013. However the upper age limit relaxation will be as per govt. norms.
Educational qualification The candidate must have Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent as on 01.01.2013. For the post of SI in Delhi Police male candidates need to have a valid driving licence for LMV and need to carry that on the date of Physical endurnace and Standard tests.
What is the Selection procedure for SSC SI/ASI recruitment 2013
Candidates will be selected based on written examination followed by Physical Endurance Test, Medical examination and interview.

There is two written paper in SSC SI/ASI written test and both papers will be of objective type multiple choice questions.

SSC SI/ASI exam Paper I: The exam date for SSC SI/ASI Paper I is on 10.06.2013 at FN Session from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. It consists of four parts which carries a total of 200 marks with 50 questions each and the time given to complete this is two hours.
Part A - General Intelligence and Reasoning
Part B - General Knowledge and General Awareness
Part C - Quantitative Aptitude
Part D - English Comprehension
SSC SI/ASI exam 2013 Paper II: The written exam date for SSC SI/ASI exam 2013 is on 18.08.2013 at FN Session from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. The paper II will have English Language & Comprehension consists of 200 questions carrying 200 marks.
NOTE For each wrong answers there is a negative marking for which 0.25 marks will be deducted . You can get the answer keys of SSC SI/ASI 2013 exam seven days after exam conducted on official website.
