Thapar University has released the notification for the admission of various courses for academic year 2013. From this year the BE/B.Tech admission on Thapar University will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2013 Score and normalized score of qualifying exam.
The online application form for Thapar University is available on official website and the last date to fill the form is 3 May 2013.
Eligibility Criteria of Thapar B.E/B.Tech 2013 Admission
1. Candidate must have passed the Class XII exam or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% (GEN & OBC) and 55% (SC & ST) in the subject combination of Mathematics, Physics and any one of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology.
(ii) has appeared in JEE (Main)-2013.
(iii) possesses a good moral character.
(iv) is a citizen of India.
(v) is born on or after October 1, 1988 (5 years relaxation in age for SC/ST/PH
candidates).
The admission shall be made on the basis of score in JEE (Main) and normalised score in Class 12th or other qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively).
